When is the best time to do a remodeling project?
Enhanced Remodeling does renovations and remodeling on a year-round basis. If the bulk of the remodel involves interior spaces only, then any time of year will work. If the project requires foundation, masonry, or concrete work, then it’s best to do the project when the temperatures are above freezing and there is a smaller chance of strong rain, snow, or wind in the forecast. However, we often build during the winter months. Some homeowners prefer to schedule kitchen remodels during the summer or fall months, when it’s easier to cook outdoors on a BBQ.
How many years of experience does your company have?
Enhanced has 100+ years of combined experience. We know roofing, remodeling and homebuilding inside and out and we have seen it all!
Will I be without power/water/gas during the remodel?
There will likely be some brief interruption to utilities. We will always give you advance warning so you can plan accordingly.
Will I need a permit for my project? Do you help with that part of the process?

Will my family need to move out of our home during the project?
If you are planning a whole house remodel then you will probably need to find other living arrangements during the construction period. For other types of home remodeling projects, you should be able to remain in your house.
How will I choose materials, colors, etc.? Do you help with that part of the process?
More often than not, our clients prefer to make these selections on their own, but Enhanced Remodeling will be happy to offer guidance on with paint selections and design choices if desired. If you wish, we can also refer you to a designer to help with your project.
Will the remodel be noisy? During what hours?
Our working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM. Of course construction is inherently noisy, so you can expect noise at varying levels throughout the home renovation process. If you wish, we can give you advance notice for especially loud parts of the project like concrete and tile cutting, floor sanding, and so forth, so that you can plan your days accordingly.
What factors impact the cost of a remodeling project?

Do you have in-house designers and architects?
No, we do not have in-house designers or architects; we’re focused on being the best general contractor we can be. That said, we regularly collaborate with certain architectural firms and/or designers who we can recommend.
Will my house be dusty and dirty throughout the project?
This depends on the size and scope of the project. Generally speaking, the dust and dirt will be the worst in the initial demolition phase. Once we’ve got things stripped down to the frame, things will be fairly clean. Drywall installation and sanding will create a lot of very fine dust for a few days. We do our very best to seal off the rest of the house, but a little dust will always get through. It’s a good idea to throw a plastic sheet over nearby sensitive items like electronics or fine furniture during this phase.
My project is small, do I need an architect/designer?
It depends on the scope and scale of the project. Often, we need architectural drawings and specifications to guide our installations. Even for small projects that don’t require additional design input, plans may be necessary to efficiently and accurately communicate project expectations to our skilled craftspeople and subcontractors. They are also necessary to secure permits to do the work. The scope of the project will determine whether you need a design professional.
How long will my remodeling project take? How much will it cost?
Each project is different, so time and price will vary greatly depending on the scope and size of the project. One of the reasons are customers are highly satisfied with Enhanced Remodeling is that we give realistic, reasonable time and cost estimates and we stick to them.
How should I choose a remodeling company?
The main things to look at are experience, reputation, and testimonials. Is the company experienced? Can they show you photos of past jobs? Do they have satisfied customers and positive reviews? Does their communication style work for you? Are they licensed and insured? These are some good questions to ask yourself when you’re considering a remodeling company.
